You’ll be our first choice if you have1. A PhD in life sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience) with an enviable practical experience in data stewardship or metadata management.
2. Working knowledge of setting up and implementing data stewardship practices.
3. Three (3) or so years’ experience in managing people.
You’ll be expected to1. Lead a team of 5-8 specialists.
2. Coach and mentor, your team while at the same time learning and keeping abreast of the latest technologies in the field.
3. Be an active sparring partner to your team members to help make strategic decisions.
