You’ll be reporting directly to the Director, of Global Indirect Procurement (Claus Olsen). Our team has established a global strategic procurement approach within the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, by implementing a Centre of Excellence operating model.
Within this model, you’ll be responsible for leading and supporting sourcing and business development projects within various categories.
What you can expect, as a Sourcing Specialist:
Together with your team and stakeholders, you will identify sourcing opportunities and drive negotiation and relationship management with our suppliers and internal stakeholders. This includes developing and implementing sourcing and category strategies and conducting relevant change management activities to ensure that results are anchored in the organization.

You’ll be reporting directly to the Director, of Global Indirect Procurement (Claus Olsen). Our team has established a global strategic procurement approach within the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, by implementing a Centre of Excellence operating model.
Within this model, you’ll be responsible for leading and supporting sourcing and business development projects within various categories.
What you can expect, as a Sourcing Specialist:
Together with your team and stakeholders, you will identify sourcing opportunities and drive negotiation and relationship management with our suppliers and internal stakeholders. This includes developing and implementing sourcing and category strategies and conducting relevant change management activities to ensure that results are anchored in the organization.
Also, as our Sourcing Specialist, you will:
- Initiate and drive new cost-saving initiatives, securing a constant solid saving pipeline – e.g., prepare and carry out larger tenders, including negotiations, stakeholder management and finalizing contracts in collaboration with our legal team
- Consolidate your spend globally in cooperation with both central decision-makers and local stakeholders and effectively handle the long tail of suppliers
- Conduct in-depth market and vendor research, including identification and engagement of new suppliers
- Mapping and analyzing data on current spending patterns and identifying cost drivers and opportunities in complex marketplaces
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- For the past 2-3 years in procurement, you have actively been involved in commercial where you have acquired experience in supplier negotiations, stakeholder management, contract management and project management
- You are a strong communicator, and you are a natural storyteller
- You are easily making connections and relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
- You are an expert in procurement with strategic approach/business plans, category management and sourcing
- You have presentation and communication skills
- A Masters degree in e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Law or Supply Chain Management
