With a direct reference to Head of Business Applications, you will become a part of the Business Application team in IT. The team consists of dedicated colleagues with competences within system administration, project management, development, integration and architecture. Together we are responsible for the planning, building and operation of Kamstrup´s internal business applications as well as the integration between the platforms and other applications. The team is growing and is characterized by a positive and informal tone as sparring is a natural of our everyday work.
A job with full ownership of our software tools and application portfolio
In the newly established position as Software Portfolio Manager, your main responsibility will be to take the ownership of the entire portfolio of engineering and design software applications used in Kamstrup, in order to ensure that the portfolio of used applications are enhanced and maintained in alignment with relevant business stakeholders.
More specially your tasks will be to:
• Lead discussions with key stakeholders to reduce spend on applications not delivering value
• Deliver metrics to illustrate the business benefits of each application
• Make sure that our portfolio meets the need of our diverse business requirements
• Oversee the entire application lifecycle
• Act as the custodian of all data relating to software in the portfolio including; age, usage, cost, maintenance and interrelationships with other applications used
Personality matters
We are looking for a talented Software Portfolio Manager who can take our software tools and application portfolio to new heights. We imagine that you have an educational background within Engineering, Computer Science, Cand. IT or similar combined with at least 3 years of experience from a similar role, where you have overseen a large software portfolio in a complex organisation. In addition, we expect that you have experience with the development of processes and tools used in engineering and software design. Insight and knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab, JetBrains, TeamCity, Bitbucket, Microsoft power platform or similar is an advantage.
As a person you are openminded to changes and possess a can-do attitude to problem-solving. You are organized and thrive in an environment with many ongoing tasks. You pride yourself in your ability to create trustful relations with both internal and external stakeholders, why you are good at working cross functional. Lastly, you have a natural authority by virtue of your skills and experience, but you also understand that good solutions are created in daily cooperation.
