Foodjob Nordic is looking for a Financial Controller to join AAK at site Aarhus. AAK is the leading producer of specialized oils and fats for the food industry. The plant in Aarhus supplies key strategic products to other AAK Business Regions worldwide and the site in Aarhus is the “Center of Excellence” for solutions to the global chocolate and confectionery industry. Approx. 250 people work at the site, and AAK Denmark has an annual turnover of approximately 2 billion DKK.
Position
Reporting to the Financial Director you will be part of a very strong local team driving the financial performance of the site. The scope of the financial function is both wide and complex and you will be able to take on more and more responsibility as you gain more experience. Key tasks will include (but is not limited to):
This is an opportunity to develop in a broad finance role in a multinational company. The company is continuously developing and you will have the chance to be involved in the various projects and initiatives that follows. The working culture is agile and AAK offer a positive modern working environment and corresponding working conditions and facilities.
The position is based at the site in Aarhus, Denmark. A moderate level of travelling activity should be expected.
Profile
Besides a degree in finance or a related discipline you have a minimum of 3-5 years professional experience from similar positions. Experience in a similar industry is a definite advantage. So is experience with SAP and/or working with business intelligence tools like Tableau.
You have a genuine interest in business and you have the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. You possess excellent communication skills in English (both orally and in writing).
Your analytical approach and attention to detail makes you a valued finance professional and you have a good sense of balancing and prioritizing information. As a person you are open-minded, curious and independent, and you thrive on the challenge to turn complex financial data and analysis into tangible information.

Position

- Be a key player in the monthly reporting process supporting with a full range of tasks
- Support the guiding of management in financial decisions based on data analysis
- Develop, together with the team, the budget process, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc follow-up as well as new tools, resources and other finance process development
- Provide management with comprehensive financial updates
- Work closely with management & finance stakeholders to further support the business growth of AAK
