The position
As our Equipment Engineer, you will become part of an agile team and be responsible for keeping our computerised test equipment operational and in compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements and thereby requirements from health authorities collaborating closely with many colleagues internally in the department, and externally with system owners of applications owned by other areas. Relevant tasks in this position are:
  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting complex systems including Software from different suppliers.
  • Ensuring IT security and data integrity by working in accordance with Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for Computer Systems Validation.
  • Taking part in improving and optimising our processes and purchasing new computerised equipment.
  • You will write User Requirement Specifications (URS) and guidelines for the system operational processes. Furthermore, will work with deviation management and preparation of change requests and perform annual user and configuration review. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Great passion for working with IT and system operation and a natural curiosity for new technologies and opportunities.
  • Degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT or similar.
  • Experience with managing IT systems – even in a regulated area.
  • Some experience in driving IT improvements or managing projects.
  • We are currently implementing LIMS in our department and will provide you with training in this application, therefore, prior experience with LIMS is not required, though it will be an advantage. You have a strong personal drive and a collaborative mind and create trustful relations keeping an overview of your tasks. Good stakeholder and communication skills are a must as being fluent in English. About the department
    DDS consists of more than 350 colleagues who work dedicated to designing and developing innovative medical devices and digital therapeutic solutions for our patients. In Experiments, CT and Design Verification, we are responsible for explorative testing, development of test methods and design verification testing of injection devices and new connected and innovative solutions for drug delivery.
