As a scrum master, you are invited onboard into our agile journey, as part of Digital, Data & IT, Research & Early Development (DD&IT R&ED). The role and its responsibilities
As a Scrum Master, you will be the role model for agile practice and behaviour. We expect you to create a culture of trust and psychological safety, and to inspire and foster leadership in others. Furthermore, you will help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics with continuous flow and focus on the outcome instead of output. The main job tasks in the position are:
Facilitating agile ceremonies for the agile team, continuously improving the agile ways of working. Leading and influencing the agile transformation inside the agile team and across R&ED IT. Onboarding and coaching individual team members in the agile roles and ways of working. Inspiring the team to continuously improve on products and processes, by ensuring constructive and positive team dynamics aligned with agile principles. Helping the team track their progress and enable transparency of tasks (Azure DevOps). A strong and positive personality with expertise within the agile ways of working. You have experience with coaching/engaging high-performing agile teams and a good comprehension of IT. Potentially, you have worked on projects within the pharma industry or with operational technology for manufacturing. You are motivated by challenging assignments and to become an essential part of a journey of digitalization and automation, supported by a People Leader of Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Product Owners, etc. You have a structured way of working and a general overview which enables you to handle several tasks simultaneously while keeping an ongoing focus on results. You are ambitious about your assignments and interested in growing your skills. Independence, cross-cultural understanding, and fluency in written and spoken English are essential. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following skills & experiences:
5 years or more of experience with IT projects including project management or Scrum Master experience. A degree at minimum BA level of science in IT or another relevant field. Join the Agile journey in DD&IT Research & Early Development

This close collaboration, with both solid IT implementation experience and expert understanding of the pharma research business, enables us to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain – from idea to patient. We are currently forming an organization to support the agile culture and are ambitious in our effort to onboard skilled employees to support this ambitious transformation. The position as IT Scrum Master will be a part of agile teams in R&ED IT. The agile teams have highly skilled and dedicated employees, who support the R&ED IT strategies by driving key IT initiatives.
