Because of an increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions worldwide, we are looking to expand our Technology Software Team with a talented Senior Backend Developer.
With a direct reference to our Head of Analytics Software Development, you will become a part of a fast-growing international software development team located in Denmark and Málaga, Spain. The team consists of +20 colleagues with backgrounds within Software Development, Data Science, UX Design and QA Engineering, but we all work towards building software for the utility sector to enable our clients to reduce the waste of energy and water in the distribution network. We believe in an integrated approach, where every team member is involved in all steps of the software development lifecycle why we are working according to the SCRUM methodology. A job with focus on transforming customer requirements through new technologies
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will have a key position in developing environmental solutions that creates value to our customers. In collaboration with the rest of the team, you will refine, estimate, develop, test, and document the functionalities we develop for our customers, always under an agile methodology approach.
More specifically, your primary tasks will include:

We are looking for a committed and ambitious Senior Backend Developer who is passionate about software development and wants to be a part of an international company striving to optimize the world's water and energy resources. To succeed in the position, you must have a relevant background within engineering or computer science combined with at least a few years of experience with .NET technologies (C#) and Object-Oriented technology. However, your background is not crucial, as we value a person with the right attitude and potential.

In addition, it is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written.

- Developing and maintaining of current and new applications within the Analytics platform
- Ensuring that the development is aligned with the requirements
- Implementation tasks from design to code in production
- Continuous improvements initiatives to proactively manage technical debt and poor performance
- Collaborating to ensure that our system architecture supports an effective and efficient CI/CD process

- Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices
- Proven experience using best practices (SOLID, Clean code, TDD)
- Experience from working with a Cloud platform as PaaS, preferably Azure
- Experience with CI/CD setup (GitLab)
