The position
This is an exciting position, in which the focus is on communication with various stakeholders, and presenting insights that will support senior management in their decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end forecasting of all aspects of supply chain from raw materials to the final product. You will also function as a sparring partner to production areas to drive improvements in the manufacturing process to meet increasing demand.
You can look forward to:
• Coordinating the budgeting process across production facilities and ensuring that Novo Nordisk targets are translated to local manufacturing targets.
• Setting up and optimizing warehousing capacities across the value stream
• Managing inventory planning to ensure that strategic and operational inventory targets are met
• Ensuring tactical supply chain parameters are maintained effectively
• Developing tools along with data partners and being a part of projects which help in proper governance and automation. You will be a single point of contact between the central and local teams and you will be able to develop a broad network across the organisation. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: • Master’s degree in Data Science, Supply chain, Finance, Business management, or a related field
• Experience in stakeholder management in large organisations and motivation to by establish something new where there will be many learnings
• Excellent analytical skills, and some years of experience either with supply chain, production planning processes, business planning or business finance
• Experience in tools like SAP or OMP and a flair for learning new systems
• Proficiency in English It would be an advantage to have experience in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders. API (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for managing API Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain Enhancement tools.
