Then this might be the right opportunity for you! We are currently seeing a new colleague to join our cultivation and fermentation team in Hillerød. The Position The cultivation team’s responsibility is to support the daily operation of cultivation/fermentation, translate data into scientific sound explanation, ensure support for a range of projects around implementation of new equipment and technologies. This position has also a heavy emphasis on GMP and compliance. You will have 12 immediate colleagues, with various professional experience and backgrounds. In this position you will have the following tasks:
  • Daily, visible proactive support for production in board meetings, handover meetings and shop floor presence.

  • Process confirmation and continuous improvement of cultivation / fermentation.

  • Deviation handling and prevention using systematic problem solving.

  • Driving projects regarding changes to new technologies.

    • Moreover, you will participate in continuous improvements and simplifications in our production, ensuring that learnings are shared across the department. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you have:
  • A relevant academic degree in natural science, engineering or similar.

  • Knowledge of basic cell biology or process engineering.

  • Knowledge or experience with GMP production and behaviour is considered a strong advantage.

  • You are familiar with LEAN principles and can work in accordance with them.

  • Proficiency in English and Danish.

About the Department Our department (BRD API production in Hillerød) consist of 110 colleagues and is responsible for thaw, cultivation, recovery and purification of multiple products! We produce phase III, PV and market production and you will thus gain insight into not only these phases of product cycles but also gain insight within the value stream of biotech production.
