In the Medical & Science liver disease department our mission is to improve the lives of people living with liver diseases using different platforms such as peptides, siRNA and monoclonal antibodies delivered subcutaneously or orally. The department consists of medical specialists with various backgrounds and experience within hepatology and drug development. We are committed to having a fun, safe and inclusive work environment. The workplace is our office buildings in Søborg, Copenhagen. The position
ALD is one of the most common chronic liver diseases in the world. It is associated with increased risk of morbidity and mortality. Currently, treatment options are few and insufficient. There is therefore great unmet medical need for effective and safe pharmacological treatment options. Medical doctors are working at the very heart of our business in [xxxxx], and as a part of the Medical & Science liver disease department you will be involved in:
• developing new therapies
• design clinical trials
• evaluating the safety of our medicines and be part of the drug submissions and approval processes with health authorities globally Moreover, you will have the important task of sharing and discussing new insights with physicians and top researchers all over the world and play a key role in all the different stages of [xxxxx] clinical drug development. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
• hold a university degree as a Medical Doctor
• have experience in clinical research such as PhD and/or experience with planning and execution of clinical trials
• ideally have clinical experience in hepatology and ALD
• are fully proficient in English Experience with clinical drug development from the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry will be seen as an advantage. On a personal level, you are a flexible, open-minded, and dedicated team-player with the ability to take on an informal leadership role also supported by excellent collaboration and communication skills. You thrive in a setting with a high level of complexity and have solid problem-solving capabilities. Curiosity, empathy, and a good sense of humour as well as a wish to understand yourself even better and explore personal development opportunities is very much appreciated. Working at [xxxxx]
