Then you might be the right candidate for the position as Financial Analyst in Global Financial Risk, Corporate Treasury. The position As Financial Analyst, you will be the key responsible for treasury activities across Latin America (Region LATAM) and drive activities across Eastern Europa, Africa, Middle East and Asia together with the Treasury Manager for Emerging Markets. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with Novo Nordisk affiliates across region LATAM and be in close dialogue with the international banks. Your key responsibilities will include: Manage and reduce financial risks in affiliates Limiting the risk of trapped cash in high-risk countries Provide funding for affiliates and production sites Anchor point for the cash management set-up in affiliates Prepare recommendations and general reporting for senior management Ad hoc analysis and problem solving As the treasury expert for region LATAM you will as part of your job follow global financial markets, keeping a close eye on political events, macroeconomic developments and currency developments. You will act as the go-to person and strategic sparring partner for the organisation on treasury activities in Region LATAM. It is very important for us to continuously develop our employees to take on increased responsibilities. As a member of the Global Financial Risk team, you will be part of a dedicated and professional group, characterised by a high degree of knowledge sharing and sparring. You can look forward to a broad and international contact base as you will engage with multiple Novo Nordisk affiliates as well as well as the international banking sector. The position is based at our headquarter in Bagsværd, Denmark. About the department You will join the Global Financial Risk team in Corporate Treasury, responsible for managing financial risks in affiliates and maintaining and developing the Group’s global cash management set-up. We are a department of seven dedicated and highly skilled professionals with five located in our headquarter in Bagsværd, DK, one located in Zurich, CH and one located in Princeton, US. The Global Financial Risk department is part of Corporate Treasury which also consists of the Corporate Financial Risk department responsible for handling financial risks at Group level, and the Insurance Risk Management department responsible for handling Novo Nordisk’s insurance programs. Qualifications You have an academic background with a Master of Science as a minimum in e.g. Economics or Finance with excellent results and 0-2 years of relevant experience. from an international company or the financial sector. You are analytical, ambitious, and energetic with a positive attitude towards challenges and eager to learn and develop. You proactively drive a project forward and deliver high quality. You take ownership of your assignments, can work independently while also achieving results through others. Furthermore, you have excellent relationship management skills with the ability to connect with a wide-range of people of different cultures and seniority.
