Do you want to develop robots and automated solutions for our Quality Control (QC) laboratories and analytical facilities? Are you excited about the possibility to drive changes and introduce new technology? In Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Analytical Manufacturing Development (MDev) we are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and innovative new colleague to develop and implement new automated solutions to shape the laboratories of the future. Join us as Robot Application Engineer. Apply now! The position
Your overall objective is to specify and develop automated solutions to optimize our laboratory by means of robotics and traditional automation. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of prototypes and solutions within processes that today are handled manually. Furthermore, you will be responsible for improving the designs after concept reviews before final implementation in our laboratories. Apart from hands-on robotics/automation tasks, your tasks will be very varied and include innovation sprint facilitation, idea generation, design of solutions, testing and coordination. You will act as the project responsible, developing and testing solutions together with the rest of the team. You will have close collaboration with our customers in the analytical laboratories, colleagues in other development areas across Novo Nordisk as well as external stakeholders. Finally, you will join a harmonious team and department with competent, caring, and positive colleagues. We have a strong foundation of employees with high seniority mixed with more recent newcomers. Novo Nordisk is a great place to work, and our internal engagement survey scores are well above average.
Qualifications You will be a great asset to our team because you: Have a strong technical background, preferably within robotics and automation, or have obtained extensive knowledge about robotics and automation through your current work. Have a track record of programming, preferably liquid handling platforms or other experience with robots/cobots such as Precise Automation, UR or similar, and significant knowledge in scripting languages. Have minimum 2-5 years’ experience of working, where you have practiced your automation skills. You have an innovative mind-set and like to build and experiment with the technical solutions. You are outgoing and eager to search for the opportunities in partnerships across our organisation and you understand that your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success when navigating among multiple stakeholders and interests. Experience from working in the pharma industry and within GxP is certainly an advantage, but not a prerequisite.

We have innovation in focus, and we implement new technology continuously. Working at Novo Nordisk

From research and development, through to manufacturing, marketing and sales – we’re all working to move the needle on patient care. Contact
