The position Our supply chain network will expand significantly in size, volume, and complexity in the years to come to support already marketed product and our pipeline of new product introductions. To prepare and support the development of our long-term planning horizon, we seek to strengthen our support to strategic planning decision in terms of how to allocate volume in our manufacturing network. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will mainly be responsible for:
  • Supporting our long-term business in navigating decisions within the complex area of network design – where do we see bottlenecks and potential opportunities in our network
  • Our Global Allocation Model, GLAM – operate and develop the model used for network allocation
  • Bridging the different inputs regarding capacity, long term demand, production capabilities and regulatory constraints - all in one model to address future network allocation
  • Rolling out GLAM into new therapeutical areas as well as strengthen our general data integration
  • Your deliveries will support colleagues in Long Term Planning, Finance, Business Support areas and Regulatory in decisions on both tactical and strategic level. Your ability to gather the right data, understand the context and develop the analysis within GLAM support our stakeholders in making data driven decisions. Decisions to support how we expect to utilise our supply chain network and to what activities we must focus on in terms of capacity, capabilities, and regulatory ties. To be able to succeed in this role you must have high data technical and analytical skills. You own the capacity to keep a holistic overview, while you at the same time can dig deep into relevant details for a full picture. You will thrive in this position if you find yourself having a curious mind and an eagerness to explain the world using data.
    Major parts of your activity will be analytical demanding for vital translation of business needs into concrete actions. Many requests are due to market changes and must be picked up from different business areas and captured into actual scenarios that will cover the full spectrum of solutions. In that also lays the motivation and ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders to create together the best results.
    As we are part of Product Supply, knowledge within supply chain or manufacturing area is an advantage to link modelling task with business understanding. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with:
  • A Master’s degree in M.Sc. Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Math-Economics or a similar field.
  • Solid practical experience working with complex data and analysis.
  • A strong analytical, data driven mindset and preferably tactical or strategic experience. Experience within Tableau and Alteryx is an advantage.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of operation research (OR), and/or complex network analysis is considered of great benefit as well as experience within supply chain or manufacturing.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • As a person, you adapt easily and work proactively and independently. In an environment that changes continuously you manage in-/output for translations of complex business information into modelling as base for further decision making on project and management level. You have a curious nature and a natural commitment to investigate and learn about the business areas and the stakeholders, who depend on you. You are a strong executor with a positive attitude and openness towards other people and new ideas. About the department We contribute to ensuring that the foundation for delivering marketed and pipeline products to our patients is in place. We do this by delivering a data-driven and objective base for the planning of production capacities and investment decisions across Product Supply. This is our purpose. You will be a part of Supply Chain Design team – 6 people with diverse educational background and work experience. We cover roles within Project Management, Supply chain knowledge experts and Business Intelligence. The team is part of “Supply Chain Strategy and Design” (approx. 20 colleagues) and is anchored in the central Supply Chain unit.
