Apply today and join us for a life-changing career!The PositionAs one of our Senior Project Managers, you will have full responsibility for planning and driving large-scale engineering projects. Additionally, take the lead on defining project scope and building a wider project strategy.Taking the lead for multiple large-scale and cross-organizational projects, you will develop and implement solutions related to production setup and manufacturing, ensuring projects are fully and correctly defined and delivered entirely on time, on budget, and at agreed performance criteria.In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating and developing project plans, and establishing the appropriate governance in partnership with the project owner.
  • Reporting on project performance to Executive level stakeholders.
  • Actively support the implementation of standardized ways-of-working against industry best practices, across DMS (Device Manufacturing and Sourcing).
  • Manage multiple CapEx projects against budget and negotiate project resources with LoB management and manage these resources during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk Quality Management System and PSQIT Environmental, Health and Safety Management system.
    • Novo Nordisk Production and external manufacturing sites are situated worldwide but new production sites are mainly in the EU which is why this position typically requires 10% of travel time, generally (but not exclusively) within Europe.QualificationsTo be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the operational delivery of large-scale international projects associated with production, manufacturing, or CapEx Investment.
  • Experience in production operations and associated equipment, outsourcing/establishment of production setup through external suppliers, Utilities and Building & Construction.
  • PMP certification.
  • Knowledge of GMP within a production environment.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English language.
    • As a person, you have a structured approach to planning which enables you to balance priorities and set direction across multiple large, high-profile projects. On top of that, you have strong interpersonal skills and motivation to build effective networks and drive change at all levels of the organization. You have proven leadership and communication skills and drive decision-making, across a global matrix organization.Department InformationThe Project Management Office is a newly created department in DMS that aims to be the Centre of Excellence in Project Management. Our key focus includes not only the improvement of Project Management systems and processes but also the planning and execution of complex and strategic projects.
