Responsible for the global sales of customized tools.


“Customized Tools” is a newly established business unit with a clear ambition to strengthen the global sales of customized tools, primarily targeting wind turbine manufacturers such as Vestas, GE, Siemens Gamesa, and Nordex. The department works on a global scale, and you will have a broad interface with the entire value chain.

As Sales Director in the “Customized Tools” business unit, you are responsible for developing sales towards various key accounts and increasing Danhydra’s market share within customized tools, as well as prospecting and attracting new key accounts. You will lead and support the global sales department and play an important role in building relationships with stakeholders at various key accounts.

Your tasks include:

  • Development of the global sales strategy in cooperation with the SVP BU and execution of the strategy.
  • Close cooperation with marketing to plan for the right marketing activities to support the global sales strategy.
  • Deliver agreed revenue/margin budgets.
  • Ensure optimal market performance and profitable order intake within its business areas and in line with plans and strategy.
  • Lead and direct the people within the Sales team to ensure high motivation and team acting on Danhydra values.
  • Ensure that Danhydra always has strong and professional interfaces with all key stakeholders.
  • Strengthen the strategic relationship with key accounts.
  • Define and maintain strong processes and tools for the function, including CRM and Account Plans.
  • Secure market intelligence to support sales strategy.
  • Ensure that the sales team has the right competencies.

You will join the Customized Tools Business Unit, with a direct reference to the SVP BU, and lead the global sales department, which currently consist of 4 Key Account Managers, 1 Bid Manager, 1 Pricing Manager, and 2 Sales Coordinators. You will work out of Danhydra’s main office in Herning and should expect 40-50 traveling days per year.

Experienced Sales Director with profound experience of technical B2B sales in a global context.


We are looking for an experienced Sales Director with a commercial educational degree at minimum bachelor’s level. You have profound experience leading a global high-performance sales function with a clear focus on developing the business towards global corporate customers in a technical B2B context, preferably within the wind industry. You have an operational approach towards key customers and are familiar with building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You thrive in a multi-cultural environment, which allows you to lead and motivate your team indirectly and directly across different locations.

You have a commercial mindset and high ambitions in everything you do. You are energetic and committed to success, which drives and motivates people around you. You have business acumen and strong negotiation skills. You are known for being professional, curious, visionary, and a strong communicator with profound interpersonal skills.

You master Danish and English at a professional level; however, German language proficiency is considered an advantage.

This is a great chance to play a crucial part in developing Danhydra’s client portfolio dramatically in an international market. The wind power industry is developing fast, and the need for tooling at the sites is ever-changing. Thus, you will be able to step into a developmental environment, in which, a dynamic approach to everyday tasks is a given.

In this position, you will have a huge impact on the success of the Customized Tools Business Unit, and you will have close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
