In this role you can look forward to managing the scope of the project activities in terms of investigating design, constructability, schedule, and cost for a potential new production facility. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class standards from other production facilities. You will be the main person responsible for overseeing that our Project Execution Model is used in the best possible way in the project. Your focus will be on implementing known solutions as well as developing new design solutions where relevant. You will take an active part in integrating with engineering partners and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You will also proactively manage project risks and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency. Your tasks and responsibilities will include: Facilitating the design and technology discussions across teams Supporting colleagues in solving complex challenges Facilitating and guiding the design, building and optimisation of systems and equipment for the production Developing standards and guidelines The focus of your role will be on providing innovative, efficient, and effective solutions; as well as on the consistency of work, cross-disciplinary quality, reviews and compliance with pharmaceutical codes and regulations. Qualifications We imagine that a successful candidate will have: 5+ years of relevant engineering management experience, preferably within medical production, such as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) production or finished products A master's or bachelor's degree in biomanufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, although the right experience will be more important than a degree Solid understanding of process equipment, automation and working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environment Profound insight into systematic problem-solving Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English with the ability to create clear and high-quality presentation materials. On a personal level, you are a self-starter who thrives in driving tasks independently. You have excellent analytical, planning and organizing skills, which enables you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly. With your strong logical ability, you succeed in transforming complex information from the scoping phase to execution and completion.
