The Position As Associate Manager of the Product Maintenance & NPI team you will be supporting the site in launching new needles and maintaining the existing portfolio. The main tasks will be:
  • Establishing production equipment for new products.

  • Being a key partner to R&D within manufacturing development for new products.

  • Product Maintenance on the needle portfolio.

  • Validation strategy for manufacturing equipment.

  • To play a key role in navigating with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Furthermore, you will play a key role in succeeding with providing documentation for authorities and notified bodies. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you:
  • Preferable have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.

  • Can demonstrate leadership experience.

  • Have some experience with Medical Device Regulation, MDR requirements and the approval process for medical devices.

  • Experience within validation of equipment for medical devices.

  • Are fluent in English and Danish.

  • You are ready for excellent stakeholder management and can interact with people at all levels in the organisation. It will be an advantage if you have previous experience with transferring products from development to high-volume manufacturing. As a person, you are not afraid of making decisions and setting direction. You are empathic, ambitious, proactive, and can develop your employees from where they are. You can work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of independence in prioritisation and planning execution. About the Department The Product Maintenance & NPI team consists of 14 highly competent and engaged employees who ensure world class support within manufacturing development, validation and product knowledge. The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in six departments and with more than 400 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
