Summary
We are looking to strengthen our Europe Branded team with International Senior Portfolio Manager. You will be joining a global and diverse team in our office in Gentofte, Copenhagen.
Your role would be portfolio stratgey management by defining and validating category and brand role to improve performance and profitability and reduce complexity.
What can you expect in as an International Senior Portfolio Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
- Developing and implementing the brand portfolio strategy to ensure alignment with overall business strategy of the company.
- Analyzing market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats for the brand portfolio to improve performance & profitability.
- Evaluating the performance of the brand portfolio and adjusting as needed to ensure that it continues to deliver growth and profitability.
- Conducting/Consider market research and consumer insights for development of brand portfolio strategy & to define Brand portfolio Role and road map.
- Define brand simplification & portfolio rationalization Identify and prioritize brands that should be retained, consolidated, or divested based on their strategic fit, growth potential, and financial performance.
- Defining & strengthening core & cut the tail analysis) to deliver a future proof portfolio & increase focus
- Developing a brand architecture that aligns with the company's overall strategy and reflects consumer needs and preferences.
- Own the annual portfolio meeting with markets to sign off brand plans that include product innovation, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility & alignment of plans .
- Providing regular updates to senior management on the performance of the brand portfolio and progress against the brand portfolio strategy.
- Develop a roadmap for brand consolidation, including timelines, resource requirements, and key milestones.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, distributors, and retailers, to ensure that the consolidation process is executed effectively.
- Monitor the performance of the simplified brand portfolio and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that it continues to deliver against business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for the brand portfolio simplification strategy.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- 10 years of experience in multinational FMCG companies, Global/Regional roles are preferred
- Experience in portfolio management & rationalization
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to challenge business status quo
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects , bringing efficiency & focus to driving this focus / phases of work to conclusion
- The ability to interact effectively with people from across the business and seniority spectrum
- Capability to drive and deliver programs across a wild range of strategic initiatives covering :
- General cost efficiency
- Strategy & portfolio planning
- Brand creation and execution
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communicational skills
- Fluency in Microsoft office (mainly excel & ppt)
