Sales Manager for Siemens’ Electrification & Automation Unit

To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Sales Manager for our Electrification & Automation unit with base out of the Danish Siemens head office in Ballerup. The unit is part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) which is a division in the Siemens organization. We are looking for a dedicated colleague to be part of our sales team, consisting of highly competent colleagues working to help our customers meet the growing technical demands of today's and tomorrow's energy infrastructure.

What are your responsibilities?

Your daily tasks will consist of serving a portfolio of assigned customers, managing all customer-facing activities, delivering solution presentations, advising on choosing the right medium-voltage switchgear and automation solutions. You will also have full ownership of the bid management process where you will coordinate proposals with technical and commercial colleagues.

You will:

  • Be the Siemens ambassador at our customers, building and developing trustful relationships
  • Contribute proactively at developing the business with new customer and/or projects
  • Acquire relevant know-how about our medium-voltage switchgear and automation portfolio
  • Plan and execute customer-facing activities, incl. workshops and conferences
  • Be an active user of our CRM system (SalesForce), providing regular status updates
  • Be the owner and manager of both large and small project proposals, in close collaboration with our project managers and engineers, in compliance with our processes
  • Have travel activities throughout Denmark, and occasionally visit our factories in Germany and Turkey


Your Qualifications

We believe you are a self-starter that tends to take full ownership of the tasks you are assigned. You are a teamplayer that collaborates across the organization and builds relationships across different functional teams. You are an analytical problem-solver that pays attention to detail and can manage priorities within strict deadlines in a structured way. You strive to develop yourself continuosly and take pride in being curious and keen on exploring.

You probably have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Energy Management or similar. It is also an advantage if you have experience from working with medium-voltage switchgear solutions and substation automation. You are strong in English and if you also know Danish it is a plus. We also expect you to know your way around MS Office products.
