As Director, you will lead our Moulding Manufacturing centre of excellence department “Moulding & Quality Support” (approximately 90 employees in total – 7 direct reports) in Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS).
You will be responsible for the Life Cycle Management of all Novo Nordisk owned assets at external moulding partners including operational support.
Some of your key responsibilities include: Set goals, coach and develop leaders and the organization based on the Novo Nordisk way and LEAN principles in order to meet changing requirements and improve productivity without compromising the quality.
Ensure standards for product and process support for Novo Nordisk injection moulding and decoration of all Novo Nordisk pre-filled and durable devices world-wide.
Responsible for support to outsourced production, including providing technical standards, sparring and problem solving. Quality Support on cases related to moulded and pre-assembled components delivered from both internal and external suppliers. Ensure continuous development of moulding contract manufacturing implementing new technology as well as expanding the network capacity. The position is based in Hillerød with occasional travels to suppliers or partners worldwide (20 to 30 days per year). Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Hold an engineering degree (ideally mechanical, production or other relevant technical degree) Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of experience in production and/or with supplier’s management obtained within an international environment Minimum 5 years of people management experience Be fluent in English, both written and spoken. It would be considered an advantage if you have previous experience with LEAN, process optimization and are familiar with GMP. As a person, you have excellent communication skills and are able to speak to all levels within the company. You thrive in working with and motivating people from different backgrounds. You have the ability to take initiative and a flexible attitude. Last but not least, you are good at making clear decisions and setting directions. About the area and department
