We are seeking Automation Technicians to complement our current teams of highly qualified employees. Apply now! The position As an Automation Technician, your responsibilities will include carrying out daily operational tasks, providing support to production from an automation perspective, participating in projects aimed at enhancing the automated processes in our factories, and working on code corrections and improvements in our production system. Once you have a suitable knowledge of our production environment, you will be assigned to our on-call system, which ensures that our factories can operate around the clock. Qualifications Your background for working with automation can be diverse. Suitable backgrounds include Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering/Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Automation Technologist, Process Technologist, or Industrial Electrician with automation knowledge. Experience level can vary from a few years' experience to a recent graduate, or other routes into automation work shown through references. To succeed in this role, you need to have: Work history with developing code in Sattline, 800xA, other types of DCS systems or have a great desire to know these systems Experience with Siemens PLC equipment and TIA Portal is a plus Appropriate level of knowledge with Windows operating system, AD structure, networks etc. is an advantage Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is beneficial Fluency in Danish (both written and spoken) and proficiency in English are required As a person, you possess a naturally sociable and positive disposition. You are proactive, solution-focused, and enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge. Additionally, you work systematically, demonstrate commitment to both your work and colleagues, and are accustomed to collaborating and communicating effectively across various professional domains within a complex stakeholder environment. Furthermore, you possess the ability to handle high workloads without losing the overwier. About the department The department provides Automation support for our Fermentation, Recovery and Purification plants in API IM2, site Kalundborg.
