We are looking for our new Cloud Engineer to support our team data platform and help build and maintain the cloud infrastructure in our Digitalization team in Novo Nordisk, in Hillerød. The position Come join us in supporting the digital agenda for the IFP Hillerod Digitalization Team and the site and work with exciting Digitalization Projects to improve manufacturing & production related processes. You will join a small team on 12 people who is working with different aspects of digitalisation. As a Cloud Engineer with a strong understanding of Azure and AWS platforms and services, you will have responsibility for building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support the Digitalization team, which is responsible for solving problems with digital solutions both large and small, ranging from a single new dashboard to implementation of Novo Nordisk’s data harmonization architecture. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Enhance and harness the services that enables our internal stakeholders to deploy mission critical workloads into Cloud
  • Building and maintain Cloud platform to support the team activities
  • Explore new ways of optimizing the Cloud platform architecture to deliver time to value
  • Be a Cloud solutions evangelist together with the team and advocate of applying optimized solutions
  • Innovate on new ways of applying the rapidly changing cloud environment to solve problems.
    • Other responsibilities include ensuring the availability and performance of our cloud services and troubleshooting issues and documenting our infrastructure. The engineer should also have experience working with DevOps tools and practices. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience; Engineering Computer Science or Math background preferred.
  • Strong developer and scripting skills (e.g. C#, PowerShell, Python) and experience in applying these to automate a Hybrid Cloud environment
  • Relevant hands-on development experience on platforms such like Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD environments (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Good understanding of storage and database systems.
  • Monitoring, discoverability, and logging (Elastic).
    • As a person you have a very structured way of solving problems and you can plan your work to keep your deadlines. You possess excellent collaboration skills, but you also work independently and are proactively setting your own goals. In this area, you will collaborate with the cLEAN, finance, and training teams, as well as specialists supporting quality, strategy, and recruitment.
