Do you want to pioneer the data & analytics development within the supply chain in Novo Nordisk? Are you keen on pushing the maturity level for the entire Supply Chain (SC) analytics community by heading up the SC Analytics CoE, ensuring training, governance and adoption of new tools and methods? About the department The Supply Chain Data and Analytics department is a diverse, international team consisting of ~15 employees with different backgrounds, collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain Experts and Data Engineers placed in both DK and India, in bringing data & analytics solutions to the supply chain areas. In this department we work on the technology frontier, leveraging data-driven insights and automation to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and enabling business growth and agility by creating best in class analytics. We are a Centre of Excellence within digitalisation, analytics as well as advanced analytics, utilising data science to build advanced models providing optimal recommendations for decision-makers across the supply chain, enabling fast and proactive decisions. Our ambition is to use the latest computational tools and techniques to help create a future-ready and intelligent supply chain. The position You will lead the Data and Analytics team, and together with the team, carry forward the work to ensure we succeed with our mission of achieving full supply chain transparency – accelerating innovative solutions supporting intelligent decision-making by enhancing data and using advanced analytics. You will first and foremost have to ensure the team thrives and engagement is kept high, as they proceed with developments on key strategic projects, such as Command Centre, Control Towers and Digital Supply Chain Twin. Your key contribution will be to engage in cross-functional stakeholder interaction at all levels, to ensure management support and focus – continuously striving for alignment with key stakeholders and knowledge sharing on progress, to ensure awareness and visibility of benefit realisation, as robust analytics solutions are deployed. Secondly, as the Supply Chain Data Steward, you will be accountable for the SC Data Foundation, ensuring availability of high-quality data leveraging existing data management solutions, and supporting the ongoing work of designing and building a future-proof, cloud-enabled data foundation for Supply Chain domain.   Thirdly, you will be accountable for driving our Supply Chain Analytics community, ensuring upskilling through various training setups of new analysts, best practice sharing and adherence across the supply chain areas, and sourcing new talent by engaging with the external environment e.g. through case competitions and lectures at Universities. Qualifications We expect you to have an education within a relevant discipline e.g. engineering or business with +7 years of experience. To succeed in this position:
  • It is of key importance to have strong stakeholder management experience along with relevant supply chain understanding.

  • Ideally, you have a proven track record in working with and delivering business value through data and digital solutions.

  • Eagerness to upskill the team and yourself with knowledge of new technologies constantly popping up.

  • Preferably, you have previous experience with people management and have a keen interest in developing an energetic team of talents with many newcomers to Novo Nordisk. They all have big ideas and are pushing the company though new ways of thinking and new cutting-edge technology and need a leader, defender and supporter. Also, it is preferable but not a requirement if you have had previous experience with the tool pack we use or will be using (AWS, Azure, Alteryx and Tableau, MS PowerSuite), and you have experience within deploying IT solutions and the product management lifecycle. As a person you have a high level of energy, a positive mind-set and are open towards other people and new ideas. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with numerous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing deadlines. You have the ability to work in a structured and independent manner and are ready to push the analytics agenda. You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
