Our visualization portfolio includes a range of products within video laryngoscopy, single lung ventilation, bronchoscopy, ENT, gastro-enterology and urology. All centered around the aScope product range. The innovative aScope is a single-use flexible endoscope, developed and manufactured by Ambu and recognized by doctors worldwide.

You will work alongside the established team within Urology to increase traction and business opportunities worldwide. You will join an international marketing team with highly dedicated colleagues. You will be based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. However, you could potentially work out of another country within Europe as well. Occasional travel is required for this role.

A global position with impact.

We are looking for a Global Product Manager to drive the commercial agenda for our Urology portfolio. In your daily work, you will have the role as downstream product manager working closely with our regions on actual worldwide impactful launches but also on accelerating the current portfolio.

You will act as a strong business partner for our sales regions as well as for internal departments like Marketing Communications, Supply Chain and Finance.

Since you are the expert in your application field, we need you also to strategically work on the product lifecycle / pipeline with upstream product management to further grow the area in the coming years.

Your responsibilities.

  • Downstream product management work within Urology portfolio from launch to end-of-lifecycle.
  • Good understanding of the business in the different regions.
  • Drive activities to maintain and grow the Urology business in the regions based on market potentials and customer value.
  • Collaborate with the health economic and market access as well as the sustainability teams.
  • Have a deep understanding of the dynamics that define the global market for Urology.
  • Be the business partner for internal and external stakeholders by having the ownership of our portfolio.
  • HCP management for your responsible area.

Your background.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a solid business, technical and clinical understanding, and a strong commercial mindset. You already worked in an international role, with at least 3 - 5 years of experience as Product Manager, and you have experience from the medical device industry. Urology and visualization experience are a big plus. You probably hold a degree in healthcare, business, or marketing on a master’s level.

Your experience and skillset are enabling you to learn new therapeutic areas fast. And though this is foremost a downstream role, you still can understand user needs that potentially could drive innovation very well. Translate them to both messaging and product benefits and share those with upstream product management. It is natural for you to work in a manner where you can present your analysis, findings, and recommendations in a convincing manner to many stakeholders.

As person, you have an analytical mindset, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent collaboration skills. You thrive in an international environment, characterized by cross-functional teamwork.
