In collaboration with your colleagues in global, regional and affiliate offices, you will lead the development of patient strategies all the way to implementation. The main areas of responsibility are:
• Partner with Commercial Insights to deeply understand the patient journey and the touchpoints we can compliantly intervene to inform people with type 2 diabetes on the availability of a new class of once-weekly insulins
• Develop and activate a new patient campaign (branded/unbranded), including identification of new patient insights, messaging, and creative concept testing to support patient activation and retention
• Drive initiatives focused on greater awareness of the injection burden and advocating for oneself
• Deliver Multi Channel Engagement content across various platforms to optimize patient reach & accelerate brand awareness and action
• Consistently take an outside-in perspective and co-create impactful activities
• Develop relevant metrics and assess effectiveness of current programs. An essential part of your success is connected to identifying where and how to focus our patient strategy activities in a very competitive market with substantial differences across regions. You will need to navigate through the varying needs and conditions of the insulin market, which depend not only on regional differences but also on how we maximise resources available locally.
Qualifications
You are an experienced marketer with an academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Medicine, or another relevant field combined with a strong digital acumen. You have comprehensive experience within the pharmaceutical industry (both at a strategic and operational level) with a couple of years in patient activation roles. Key aspects to succeed in this role are: • Experience in building patient strategies & campaigns by transforming insights into impactful content aligned with the overall brand strategy
• Demonstrated digital and social marketing experience
• Proven strategic and analytical skills from developing and running brand strategies from early scoping into implementation
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders within and outside the organization
• Experience in leading global projects in a matrixed, multi-regional organization
• Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines Above all, we hope to welcome a true team player and a strong commercial strategist into this truly exciting and once in a life-time global commercial role. About the department
The Icodec & Insulin portfolio unit is globally responsible for developing and commercialising the insulin portfolio of both in-market products as well as driving the launch strategy and execution of two exciting and unique assets that are currently in clinical development. The team is responsible for setting the global strategic direction for the portfolio of brands through a co-creation approach with both global, regional and affiliate stakeholders. The role is located in Denmark HQ, within Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs Organisation. The position sits in the newly established Icodec & Insulin Portfolio Unit, and you will be joining a team of driven marketing professionals engaged in leading innovative commercial strategies and launches.
