Become a part of Technical Product Management in the Water division

The water business in Kamstrup is undergoing rapid development, which means that the requirements and demands for our smart solutions targeting the water industry are growing. Therefore, we are expanding our team with a position as Product Specialist.
With direct reference to the Head of Technical Product Management, you will become a part of our Product Management organization with a focus on water meters. You will enter an experienced team of 10 colleagues, who handle development projects, product approvals, external documentation, and customer dialogues. We collaborate to secure the foundation of our existing products as well as make sure our new products live up to customer expectations. In the department, we value collaboration inside and outside of the team, knowledge sharing, and finding the balance between technical requirements and the commercial aspects of our products.
A job with a focus on product development and optimization
In the position of Product Specialist your primary tasks will be to contribute to product development and optimization while securing that legal requirements are met for relevant markets. You will have a broad contact base throughout the organization and act as the go-to person in connection with all possible questions from customers, sales, developers, and other stakeholders relating to water meters. As you participate in the development from idea to implementation, you have the best knowledge of any new functions, and it will thus be part of your job to train sales colleagues, supporters, and partners. Thus, you also play an important role in ensuring the understanding of and insight into the value creation of new functions and products.
More specifically, your tasks will be:
• Technical training and support of customers, sales colleagues, developers, and other stakeholders
• Support Product Certification and approvals
• Product Lifecycle Management in cooperation with Product Managers
• Participation in relevant development projects
• Creating and maintaining the technical documentation package in cooperation with Technical Assistants
In the job, you can expect 10-15 travel days per year.
Your personality is important to us
We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about the field between technical solutions and commercial value. You have an academic background as an Engineer, Marine Engineer, Global Business Engineer and/or a strong technical education and experience. Whether you have some years of experience or have recently graduated is not crucial, the most important is your attitude and drive to acquaint yourself with complex technical solutions and how they can add value to our customers.
As a person, you are accommodating, hard-working, and will proactively handle daily challenges. In addition, you are impactful and can build unities around common goals. You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your tasks, where it comes naturally to you to work based on deadlines. Finally, you have strong communication skills enabling you to interact and build relations on all organizational levels, both within and outside Kamstrup.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken Danish and English. German is an advantage.
