As QA Director, you will be responsible for building a strong department to support and develop global operational readiness procedures ensuring a fast and sufficient ramp up of our new facilities worldwide. Your organisation will provide QA support to the entire value stream in a pharmaceutical fill/finish facility and ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements (cGMP). In addition, your team will assure audit and inspection readiness and participate in audits/inspections as appropriate. Your key responsibilities include:
• Establish a new QA department and set direction for the activities to be performed
• Drive people processes and people development
• Develop the QA elements of operational readiness across the programme
• Monitor and control programme work with stringent follow-up on quality, schedule and budget
• Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders globally, including regulatory authorities In this position, you will be working with multiple stakeholders worldwide and therefore some international travel will be required.
Qualifications We are looking for a person with excellent people management skills and the ability to oversee large and complex activities. You need to have great communication skills and experience in building relations with stakeholders cross functionally and globally.
You must thrive in an environment where ongoing changes are a part of our business’ development. To be successful in this position, you: • Hold an academic degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar
• Have minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Have solid and thorough experience with quality assurance and quality systems
• Have demonstrated strong leadership and ability to deliver results
• Are fluent in written and spoken English On a personal level, you have a positive attitude and are a true team player that collaborate openly at any organisational level. You have the ability to work independently, make independent decisions, set direction and create engagement in order to build strong teams. You see yourself as a driven and problem-solving individual with an outlook to explore opportunities and possibilities. About the department
AP Expansions Quality is part of the newly established area AP Expansions. The QA organisation is anchored in Investment Portfolio QA (IP QA). The purpose of AP Expansions is to increase the aseptic production capacity across Novo Nordisk, to ensure we continue to deliver high quality products for our patients, also in the future. AP Expansions Quality has a global responsibility for quality assurance and compliance of the new facilities. We ensure a high level of quality and cGMP compliance in close cooperation with our stakeholders. We have an international collaboration with QA for the new facilities.
