The position As a critical player in driving our focus on productivity and efficiency, you'll be surrounded by a team of skilled professionals, promoting good project portfolio management practices, and developing innovation solutions to support our investment plans. With extensive experience in project management within manufacturing or industrial settings, you'll possess strong communication, coaching, and motivational skills.   • Monitor and secure successful execution of investment project roadmaps and daily portfolio and program management.
  • Support and develop a customer-focused team that drives innovation and delivers solutions in support of DMS' investment plan and requirements.
  • Build and maintain a network of competencies that can integrate project teams, promote constructive relationships, and collaborate with NN's PM and PMO network.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in project management across the organization and develop organizational capabilities to deliver customer value and optimize resource capacity.
  • Manage progress on strategic investment projects with a focus on internal LoB requirements and expectations, ensuring compliance with project governance and project control frameworks.
  • Collaborate with CSDS to develop program and portfolio-level strategies and improve interactions between CSDS and DMS.
    • The job will be based out of Hillerød but will require time spent at the locations of DMS (also internationally at suppliers worldwide) and at key stakeholders in CSDS/PS. Travel activities abroad should be expected. Qualification You hold a Master level Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or similar documented education and training in Project Management. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and have a relevant business background. Moreover, we expect that you have:
  • At least 10 years of professional-level experience in Project Management in a Manufacturing/Industrial environment, with knowledge of all areas of project management.
  • Proven track record in people management, cultural transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
  • Relevant experience in production management, GMP, and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in running strategic processes and demonstrated ability to contribute to overall business strategy.
  • Strong production mindset and understanding with a focus on optimizing processes and supply chain efficiency.
    • As a key leader within the organization, the ideal candidate will be a role model who consistently demonstrates compliance with the Novo Nordisk Way and develops employees and the team through strong leadership. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of personal drive, empathy, coaching and motivational skills, as well as strong leadership and communication abilities. They will be able to set direction and ensure execution, while also exhibiting strong strategic and analytical capabilities, as well as a natural sense of authority. A service-minded approach, along with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders, will be essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess a high degree of operational understanding and be able to work cross-functionally and internationally. About The Department The Project Management Office is a newly created department in DMS that aims to be the Centre of Excellence in Project Management. Our key focus includes not only the improvement of Project Management systems and processes but also the planning and execution of complex and strategic projects.
