About this role As RITS Product Owner, you will focus on a broad range of activities to ensure that the team's solution(s) meet the business expectations. You will convert ideas into practical actions standardising our global, local IT-setup where it makes sense. This is by driving epics according to business processes, refining features, and helping the team clarify stories, defects, and enablers. The product you will own is responsible for the Regional IT supporting our +70.000 end-users. Your main stakeholders, besides your area, will be the rest of the management team in Global IT support, the management team, and senior stakeholders in the various business areas and regions of Novo Nordisk. The job is global, and some travel activity will be needed. Common day-to-day tasks come here:
  • Building, prioritizing, and maintaining team backlog.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives with the delivery team by identifying, analysing, implementing, and monitoring improvements.
  • Preparing your team for PI (Program Implements) planning activities, driving the PI planning and support in other agile events like demos
  • Working closely with Product Manager to define the product strategy/roadmap
  • Being responsible for the budget of the Epics and feature
  • Collaborating with our Head of Regional IT Support to ensure the link between Service operation and Product development, moreover cooperating with leadership and the agile delivery teams to ensure RITS initiatives deliver the intended value
  • The skills we hope to see As an ideal candidate you have:
  • 10+ years of experience in a global IT organisation as well as 5+ years of experience service management in Service Desk and IT Support area in an international company
  • Experience with vendor management along with strong business insight and knowledge is required on regions and onsite support
  • Good Financial skills and in-depth knowledge about IT support market standards, such as ITIL Framework, IT Service Management (ITSM) and Knowledge-centered service (KCS) methodologies
  • Deep knowledge on product breakdown methodologies e.g., design thinking and story mapping
  • Advanced experience with global 1st level support and UX, design thinking and customer journeys
  • Strong background in Agile principles, methodology and capability to execute events
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • On a personal level you are a great communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills and have a political flair to navigate in a global organisation. Besides, you can translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities and adapt quickly to changes. You are structured and focused on driving outcomes and able to set direction and communicate a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organisation. Moreover you have a way with delegating and empowering others to take action and a prominent level of motivation and drive to establish change in the organisation.
