How you might spend your days
As Senior Site Manager, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference by securing a safe construction/ commissioning site delivering high quality, on-time and will:
- secure that we set safety first by demonstration clear leadership in this respect
- adhere to all health, safety and environmental guidelines at all sites to ensure the occupational safety of employees on construction sites
- comply with regulatory requirements, secure that AMK (B) role is integrated on site
- adhere to the strategy in the Construction/ Commissioning areas according to NNE overall strategy
- be responsible for the management of site management, construction planning, plan of construction resources, time and economy according to customer requirements and expectations and secure fulfilment of plans
- approve allocation and prioritization of key resources together with Line and Project Management
- use your advanced stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site or business entity
- assist customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements
- ensure project compliance and ensure that the NNE quality system, standards and methods, including Our Model, are the basis for execution as applicable
- secure that the site management teams are organized in a way that allows full utilization and ensure feedback and development of team members
- Coordinate construction and commissioning works together with our competent construction and commissioning managers
- develop and implement robust commissioning strategies together with the commissioning manager
- support the development, with colleagues in the project organization
- focus on individual’s ability to grow their skills and develop the tools they need for business growth

- have a strong leadership background and experience from similar position

- thrive in developing, inspiring, and developing highly skilled staff and further develop the site management discipline
- have proven leadership experience from working with project teams.
- have an understanding of project governance structures.
- are experienced working closely with customer Project & Construction managers and key project team members.
- Global working experience is preferred but not a requirement
- have good stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site
- assist customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements.
The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Site & Construction management, primarily from pharma & biotech industries.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, monitoring and controlling of project costs and performance as well as proactive opportunity / risk management, in particular early coordination and initiation of counter measures in case of deviations as well as consistent contract management and claim management
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar.
- A proven history on effective delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal Group guidelines and requirements
- Fluent in English, spoken and written and fluent in Danish is an advantage
