Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies, and people around the world.</p><p> </p><p><strong>You will join one of the departments in Marine Structures</strong></p><p> </p><p>As our new Structural engineer in Esbjerg, Århus, or Copenhagen, you will be part of a highly specialized serviceline in Ramboll Energy that counts more than 70 employees primarily located in Denmark and India. Our serviceline has +40 years of design experience within the offshore field and is world-leading in designing monopiles or jackets for the offshore wind market, reassessment and lifetime extensions of aging platforms, and structural health monitoring including true digital twins of offshore structures in general.</p><p><br>You will be part of a result-driven design environment focusing on delivering high-quality projects in time, which we can because we help each other and invest in developing innovative design techniques.</p><p><br>You will be working closely together with very skilled structural engineers, which together with great variety in tasks give you a unique possibility for a steep learning curve and an inspiring career.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</strong></p><ul><li>New design of offshore structures (jackets and monopiles) incl. input for 3D and 2D drafting</li><li>Reassessment and lifetime extension of aging offshore platforms</li><li>Advanced global analyses of the full structural system (ROSAP and/or SACS)</li><li>Design of structural details</li><li>Preparation of installation and/or removal procedures incl. input to animation movies</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p> </p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow both personally and technically.</p><p> </p><p>For this role, we believe your starting point must be:</p><ul><li>Master’s degree in Structural and Civil engineering</li><li>Sound knowledge of structural steel design including static and dynamic engineering</li><li>0-10 years of working experience as a structural engineer within the offshore industry</li><li>Possible experience in leading and supervising a colleagues in smaller teams </li><li>Solid knowledge of Excel, MathCad, MATLAB and preferably ANSYS, Workbench and LS-DYNA</li><li>Superior communication skills in English and preferable also Danish, both oral and written.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: a social, positive, and extrovert personality, a proactive and result-driven nature capable of working both alone and in project teams, a large degree of adaptability, cultural awareness, and capability of building up strong work relationships, a confident communicator and capable of innovative thinking while combining your strong technical background with practical solutions.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Welcome to our Energy division</strong></p><p> </p><p>Ramboll is at the forefront of addressing the green transition and offers a holistic approach to energy that supports the sector on the journey towards more sustainable solutions.
