German Technical Translator – User Experience

As a translator in the User Experience team, you’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver precise and clear translations of various instructional articles, training materials, and solution-specific content related to our software. Your focus will be on ensuring top-quality translations and working closely with the team to expand our training and documentation platform with engaging content.

What you’ll be doing:

• Translating technical documentation and solution-specific content from English to German with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conducting linguistic reviews, QA, and validating terminology consistency in our existing German documentation.
• Building and maintaining the German version of Continia's documentation and eventually the training content.
• Ensuring that our German documentation is always up to date.
• Validating and maintaining our German glossary which will be used in Crowdin, our translation tool of choice.

At Continia, you'll be a part of the UX team, which consists of five dedicated colleagues located in Denmark and the Netherlands. In this team, we value having fun while working closely together, and your ideas and contributions will be highly appreciated. You can either work from one of our three German offices (Hamburg, Kiel, Osterholz-Scharmbeck) or any of the Continia offices around the world. What matters most is that you possess complete fluency in German and can translate English documentation into compelling and coherent content in German.

About you

We envision you have:

• 3+ years of experience in translations, linguistics, or a related field, preferably working with technical documentation.
• Proficiency in German and English, with German as your native language.
• Ability to produce concise and easily understandable translations while accurately conveying the meaning of the source text. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other financial systems is preferred but not required.
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
