On this journey, we are currently looking for a Scrum Master to join our Ferry & Terminal Tribe full of skilled and innovative people here at DFDS in Copenhagen. Could that be you?

Within the Technology & Innovation Division we have several Tribes supporting the core activities of the company; Trucking Logistics, Passenger, and Ferry & Terminal operations.
As Scrum Master you’ll be part of a team in the Ferry & Terminals Tribe, which supports and transforms our freight ferry business with increasingly scalable, digital, and sustainable solutions.
You will enable 1-2 teams within the Tribe to create value in a sustainable pace.
Your main responsibility will be to guide and coach your teams as well as the organization on agile values and principles. Further, challenging the status quo to promote a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and innovation.
Your focus will be on supporting knowledge-sharing and understanding who our customers are, how our services support them and how our work impacts them.
The Ferry & Terminal Tribe is counting more than 60 people distributed across Europe with main presence in UK, DK and Turkey.
Across DFDS we are around 11.000 colleagues and with more than 450 people in technology and innovation there will be plenty of opportunities for learning from and collaborating with specialists within many fields.

In your role as a Scrum Master, you will:
- Live and act by agile principles and values
- Help the team decide on the most appropriate agile frameworks, techniques and practices for their environment and needs
- Remove impediments for the team to make sure that they reach their objectives and deliver great business value
- Coach and train the team to foster an agile mindset in everything that they do
- Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily, Planning, Review and Retrospectives, when needed
- Support the Product Owners in their effort to manage the backlog
- Drive relentless improvement and create a learning environment with ongoing feedback and recognition
- Work closely with Tribe Lead and Scrum Masters within the Tribe
- Be an active member of our Agile Chapter with Scrum Masters from other Tribes in Technology & Innovation

With this in mind, we think that your background into the Scrum methodologies and agile principles can be many but we imagine that:
- You have minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- You know how to foster a strong team dynamic
- You use active listening to build and enhance relationships and to support effective communication
- You can mediate heated discussions and conflicts
- You provide constructive feedback
Overall, we value your ability to collaborate and your ability to understand how work brings value to the organization.
