By joining GMA, you will be part of the Novo Nordisk Development organisation that employs more than 3,500+ colleagues in Denmark, India and USA. You will be directly involved in supporting senior leaders across the GMA organisation in becoming more data driven and setting the direction for strategic digitalisation initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, solving problems for internal and external users globally e.g. medical advisors, external healthcare practitioners and key opinion leaders. The Position The Data & Digitalisation Lead will play a critical role in designing and implementing strategies to; collect, analyze, and interpret data, identify gaps related to our current processes and systems, as well as to deploy data governance frameworks.
  • Translate business problems into concrete cases for digital technology solutions

  • Scout for best-fit technology solutions, such as process automation, data foundation improvements, and embedded digital solutions

  • Experience versatility and variety in day-to-day tasks

  • Influence the progress of the Data & Digitalization agenda in GMA

  • Demonstrate strong execution abilities, facilitate collaboration, and orchestrate data initiatives across the organization

  • Qualifications To thrive in this role, we expect you can tick off most of the below qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science, related field or equivalent work experience with Digital Product Management.

  • A unique blend of technical and business acumen, with experience from product management with a strong data and strategy background, project management with a focus on data, strategy, and user needs, and/or management consultancy with hands-on execution and user-centricity.

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, data management, and project management, preferably with agile methodologies.

  • Knowledge of the life sciences/pharma industry is advantageous.

  •   As a person, you are ambitious, flexible, and your stakeholder management skills are second to none, enabling you to build trusting relationships across the organization, with an ability to operate on both strategical and operational levels, managing differences of opinion with senior stakeholders to ensure deliverables are done in an efficient and sustainable manner. With a collaborative mindset, you can generate pragmatic solutions to overcome challenges. You have the ability to simplify complex technical matters and are experienced in creating structure in unstructured environments.    About the department GMA Digital Transformation is a newly established department in Søborg (Denmark), aiming to move our Global Medical Affairs function towards the forefront of technology innovation –developing and driving a digitalisation strategy end-to-end, while raising awareness and expanding our digital capabilities and organisational readiness to realise true benefit of digital innovation. You will be employee no. 1, working in close collaboration with the Director of Digital Transformation in driving, facilitating, and developing the digital roadmap for the organization – as well as digital product managers/owners, program & project managers, professionals and senior stakeholders across the organization, to ensure we actively identify opportunities for how to improve our processes through technology innovation and apply design thinking in our solution designs, ensuring our users are put in the centre of our innovations.
