The position
As Senior Investment Manager you will be acting as a business partner, driving the project portfolio management governance process and investment strategy across division, alongside colleagues within the finance department. You will have oversight, driving the annual budget processes, and will be directing successful resource reallocation to ensure the execution of the project portfolio. This is a strategic, business focused position within the department, which will involve collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across the business and across countries.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting ‘Fill & Finish’ in developing strategically aligned investment projects and sound business cases Support projects in creating high quality decision material support capital investment requests Manage the annual investment planning process (AB/RE). Ensure investments are monitored and any risks or opportunities flagged in a timely manner. Prepare, coordinate, facilitate and review materials towards Novo Nordisk’s project governance forums such as Steering Groups, IPG etc. Furthermore, you will utilise your expertise in being the functional responsible for the Project Portfolio Managers across the division and providing support, guidance around best practice, including the use of project tools. Qualifications: A successful candidate should have: MSc in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or other relevant academic degree. Extensive experience with driving strategies and projects within business/ investment with financial processes. In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical products and/or production processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the experience of navigating a complex stakeholder landscape. Experience with preparing and presenting materials to senior stakeholders We welcome a professional, who has a structured and organised approach to their work. You are motivated by driving strategic projects and able to manage and prioritise high complexity and workload with tight deadlines, with the support of your team. You will be working with execution of business strategies and therefore you must be able to manage confidential information. For this position you are required to speak and write in fluent English. ‘Fill & Finish’ is a newly established division and oversees the largest investment portfolio within Novo Nordisk. The multi-billion portfolio is being governed via the central ‘Programme Office’, in which the finance department is anchored.
