You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 57,000 employees.Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across Product Supply (PS) to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the facilities of the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.You will head up the newly established Fill & Finish Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO has been created to accelerate the execution of all major capacity expansion projects (500 mDKK+) across PS. Your organisation has more than 50 employees plus a significant matrix organisation consisting of PMO support on all project sites globally and local and global engineering partners.About the position
As Head of PMO you will be reporting to the Senior VP of Fill & Finish Expansion. Your overall responsibility is management and project support of all major expansion projects in PS, and creating a global project execution standard, to be used for all future Fill & Finish expansion projects.Your organisation secures progress in project performances incl. scopes, quality, budget and schedules and that there are resources, systems and processes in place to ensure a structured management of the projects in compliance with Novo Nordisk and external guidelines and regulations. Your organisations will adhere to ensuring efficient processes, collaboration, aggregation, and escalation across engineering-related and IT/Automatization departments and each site project. Furthermore, your organisation will be responsible for facilitating the alignment around interfaces and driving decision-making around issues and changes to each project and across the project portfolio within Fill & Finish Expansions. The project portfolio consists of major green and brownfield projects located across the world in different stages and maturity.You will be responsible for the strategic planning of all interactions with the Investment Portfolio Group (IPG) incl. the prioritisation of projects, presentations of projects and expansion programs. The members of the Investment Portfolio Group consist of members of our C-site and approve all major investments across Novo Nordisk.You will also be responsible for the strategic planning of project presentations and approvals towards our Strategic Steering Group headed by PS executive members and sponsors of the projects across PS. This will also include close collaboration with our Supply Chain Management, where your organisations will be responsible for the strategy responses (gameplan) from Fill & Finish Expansions on supply/demand analyses and decisions incl. aligning market demand and logistical input from Supply Chain with relevant stakeholders.In addition, you are responsible for development, maintenance, and execution of a standard for all PMO processes incl. cost, scheduling, risk, procurement and document & changes management. You are expected to create a centre of excellence within project management that has standards and expert knowledge within all stages of project execution of major expansion projects and that can ensure speed and quality.The headquarters of Novo Nordisk is in Denmark, and frequent travelling is required.Qualifications
To be successful in this role we expect you to be a seasoned leader and to have more than 10 years of experience leading international projects within manufacturing expansion projects in highly regulated industries, e.g., pharma, oil and gas, food, automotive, semiconductor, or you have experience from an engineering company or similar.Your strong skills within stakeholder management, change management and communications enable you to manage a complex senior stakeholder landscape both within the organisation and with external partners e.g., global leading engineering companies such as NNE, Jacobs Engineering and Flour. With natural authority and independence, you balance and bridge any gaps between expectations and project deliverables, and you thrive when working with a wide range of challenges in unknown territories.As you work in a global context you are required to have good adaptability to cultural differences, practises and procedures.Contact person
