Do you dream of working with development of novel and customized speciality enzymes for pharma? Do you have experience with enzyme characterisation and purification? Then you might be our new scientist for our R&D Research team at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech in Køge. The position We offer an exciting position where you will participate in the daily work on our innovative enzyme research projects. This includes: Planning, performing and documenting research activities in lab in close collaboration with senior research scientist and labtechs that results in the selection of the best possible enzyme for a certain application such as:
Supporting the customers, partners, Strategic Marketing, the R&D Manufacturing Development team as well as other relevant teams at NNPR with scientific data. Engage in professional discussions and cooperate with the laboratory technicians and the team to achieve identified goals and deliveries within projects, compliance, and safety. Researching new scientific opportunities. Qualifications To be considered for this position you have: Masters supplemented with a PhD within biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology or related field. Proven track record of hands-on experience with enzyme characterisation and assay development. Experience with development of protein purification processes is considered a considerable advantage. Documented experience working with protein sciences Full proficiency in English. On a personal level you are a strong team player and have the ability to stay focused, even during busy periods, to ensure that tasks and project deliveries are properly planned and executed. You acknowledge the value in co-creation and understand how to produce results together. You put attention to detail, have a strong quality mindset and are ready to take on difficult challenges. About the department The R&D Research team is responsible for the innovation of new products within enzymes, small molecules for drug product formulation, and chromatography resins. We consist of 14 highly motivated and skilled scientist and laboratory technicians; our focus is on products for protein modification and purification as products for the ATMP market. We work closely with the R&D Manufacturing Development team and the Strategic Marketing team as well as several close collaborators at Novo Nordisk.
