In the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) department, we've successfully established an effective, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure. We're looking for someone who can help us take it to the next level by developing, testing, operating and managing AWS cloud solutions worldwide by means of automation. As a Cloud Developer, you will become part of the AWS platforms team, which includes members from Denmark, the US, and India. You'll be responsible for architecting, developing, improving, and operating their AWS cloud platform and cloud-native AWS services. You will get input from and spare with a lot of highly technically skilled people in the department. You'll work on automating key processes and building delivery pipelines for infrastructure that's secure and compliant.

Some exciting things you will get to work on include:
• Designing, developing, and improving our AWS cloud platform and cloud-native services to support our research initiatives, office sites, and production facilities worldwide
• Taking part of driving an automation agenda across our cloud organization and our Automation Community of Practise (CoP) and spare with a lot of highly technically skilled people in the department
• Being responsible for the automation of key processes by means of coding in the areas of policy enforcement, deployment of infrastructure as code, account handling, identity and access management, tool development and connectivity with maintainability and compliance in mind.
• Participating in the automation of key processes into delivery pipelines that build our cloud infrastructure and ultimately make sure the services we provide to the business are secure and compliant
• Engage with different stakeholders in Novo Nordisk to broaden the understanding of cloud tooling and identify automation opportunities.

Do you have what it takes?
As a Cloud developer you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud infrastructure, solutions, and services. You will need to analyze current processes, and lead testing activities within development and integration activities.
Your technology toolbox should contain some of these: Python/TypeScript /Java/Node/C#/Go for automation or integration with multiple APIs (REST, etc.).

To perform strongly in this role, you preferably have competence and skills within the following:
• You have an IT related education (computer science, engineering or software development), preferably at BSc level or higher, and/ or minimum 3 years of professional experience within automation and cloud development
• You have experience working with automation and optimisation of infrastructure operations / cloud operations and can automate pipelines and repeating workflows.
• You have solid understanding of AWS cloud platform and AWS cloud native services.
• You have good understanding of Git, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Cloud native software delivery.
• You have experience in at least one programming and one scripting language, Python, PowerShell and Bash preferred.
• You have Excellent software design, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with Agile and test-driven development (unit test, mocks, integration test), test automation.
• As a person you are motivated by challenging assignments, you absorb new knowledge quickly and can quickly assess and understand new technologies or tools.
Preferred but not required Qualifications:
Experience in these qualifications is not required to apply for the position but will help you stand out as an applicant.
• Experience creating release pipelines for infrastructure in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
• Experience building microservices using event and domain driven design patterns.
• Experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation and Terraform
• Experience with application security, oAuth2/oID.

The AWS team you will be joining is part of the global department Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI), within Global IT Operations. The department consists of 25 highly skilled cloud architects, engineers, and automation professionals, who possess strong technical platform skills and solid business understanding. The position is based in Ballerup, Denmark.
