The Position
Once you step into your new Senior Project Manager role in one of our packaging projects or Programs , you will oversee cross-organization projects and work packages. As you can expect, the role comes with a wide array of tasks, but we have put together a list of your main responsibilities: Leading international project teams composed of highly skilled engineers and specialists responsible for the implementation of highly innovative packaging lines. Driving global project teams and overseeing projects from the early development phase to the post-launch stage of our medical device/combination product pipeline. Managing a wide range of stakeholders both within Novo Nordisk and externally. Initiating, executing, and finalizing projects within our established project execution framework. Acting as the crucial link between workgroups, steering groups, project owners, project governance, and key stakeholders. Reporting and communicating at various organizational levels and forums will be a natural and integral part of project management. Occasional overseas travel may be required for this position. Finally, as a member of the team, we will encourage you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you hold a Master’s or Bachelor Degree in business, economics, engineering or similar combined with a 5-10 years track record as a senior project manager preferably within a regulated industry Broad expertise in utilizing various project tools and implementing effective project reporting mechanisms. Your proficiency in these areas will enable you to efficiently track project progress and communicate results. The ability to refine key messages to a management level when reporting to steering groups and governance bodies. Your skill in distilling complex information into concise and impactful updates will ensure effective communication at all levels. Proven capability in managing and driving multiple projects simultaneously, coupled with a methodical approach to work and tasks. Your strong organizational skills and systematic approach will enable you to handle the demands of multiple projects with efficiency and effectiveness. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Your ability to effectively set direction, drive performance, and maintain a balance between quality and speed, all while being pragmatic, is highly valued. Packaging is a large department within Device Manufacturing Development (DMD). DMD is responsible for the industrialisation of all medical devices at Novo Nordisk. We are an end-to-end corporate organisation developing products for high volume production, establishing control strategy of the products, improving, and implementing the production equipment at the production sites in different parts of the world.
