As our new Software Developer, you will become part of our global Technology Software division consisting of 170 software professionals, across several teams, who are dedicated to developing the best possible software solutions for our customers. You will join a team of about 8 developers who work with an agile mindset and consider high quality to be crucial for our work. Due to our focus on quality, we work with some of the latest technologies to develop solutions that improve the ability of utilities to optimize the production and distribution of energy and water.
A job with a focus on delivering high quality code
In the position as Software Developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions together with the rest of the team. The challenges we offer span from complex coding tasks to solution wide designs that affect thousands of customers.
More specifically, your primary tasks will be:
To succeed with these tasks, you will be working with our primary technologies, which are C# and .NET Core, but you will also be working with our ever-expanding software portfolio. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are familiar with some of the following technologies: Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence, Kubernetes, Azure in general, AKS, Apache Flink and Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL or MS SQL.
Personality matters
We are looking for a committed and analytically strong person who is passionate about software development and wants to be part of an international company that contributes to the green transition. We imagine that you have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar, that has given you the technical understanding needed to focus on code quality across the team. We are looking for developers with at least a few years of experience, but the most important aspect is your attitude and drive to deliver high standards for software development practices.
As a person, you are naturally attentive to detail and have an analytical approach to your work, helping you optimize the quality of our code. Being part of an agile team, it comes natural to you to share your knowledge and to inspire and support your colleagues. You contribute constructively to team discussions, and you enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems in collaboration with your team. You deliver high quality code and take ownership and feel accountable for the team’s planning, processes, and results.
In addition, it is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.

- Maintaining a fully automated CD/CI pipeline where we strive for automation in every aspect of our work
- Analyzing functional- and design specifications
- Establishing solid technical requirements and estimations
- Ensuring a high testing standard within the developed software
- Ensuring compliance with defined coding and architectural standards and performing code reviews
- Ensuring transparency of your own tasks in JIRA and proactively contributing to the continuous development of both the team and the department
