The position
As a Scrum Master in the Global Data Office, you will be responsible for facilitating and supporting our agile delivery teams and following the agile ways of working by ensuring the agile processes and events are implemented effectively. You will be engaged in the implementation of one or more business epics or in our architectural runways depending on your specific interests and domain experience to help deliver data management solutions to our business areas. There will be a close collaboration with other scrum masters, product owners, architects and developers including our external implementation partners in the delivery.
In addition, the position includes responsibility for Azure DevOps support and enablement across the Global Data Office and continuous support to the agile delivery teams using the platform actively and effectively as part of the agile processes and events.
Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The candidate will have a good understanding and experience with agile principles, methodologies, and events and have worked in a global organisation with a high level of complexity.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
Master’s degree within relevant fields such as IT, Business Administration, or similar education and have stayed up to date on technology trends together with 2-3 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Scrum Master or PMO with a track record of driving and delivering results Understanding of agile principles and ways of working and basic knowledge of agile tools such as Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and SAFe and specific experience with Azure DevOps Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow up in a proactive and timely manner with stakeholders Self-motivated, result-oriented, and always raising the bar for yourself and others and collaborating effectively across different level of the organisation Having worked with IT projects within the pharma industry and in large organisations is an advantage Strong cross-functional understanding as well as excellent communication and people skills, including being fluent in English
We expect strong people management skills and that you have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. You can handle several tasks at the same time while keeping an ongoing focus on learning on the journey and delivering real results. Lastly, you are driven by a curiosity about people, organisation, technology, and digitalisation. You are ambitious about your projects and career and interested in growing your skills as well as expertise to lead the way.

The focus of the Global Data Office is to detail and execute the Global Data Strategy in Novo Nordisk and unlock the full potential of data across all Line of Business. As new unit, the number of employees is growing continuously, aligned to the speed of data maturity within the organisation and handling an increasing number of data related business challenges.
