The Position The uniqueness of the job is linked to the broad responsibility in a company with the full value chain and at the same time being closely linked to Novo Nordisk A/S. In the role of Finance Manager, you will be in dialogue with all areas of the company and your stakeholder management skills and ability to understand the business needs will be key to your success. The position reports directly to the CFO of Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S. The responsibilities include: Driving budget process with input from all teams in the organization Month-end and year-end closing of our financials Monthly Management reporting and financial updates to the Board of Directors Internal controls framework and financial compliance Annual external reporting including the creation and publishing of our Annual Report. Conducting or coordinating large analytical assessments (including P&L analysis, NPVs, ROI, etc.) Part of the S&OP process to manage the financial impact of updated demand and supply. Liquidity management, tax, and transfer pricing ownership The workplace is onsite in Køge and no planned travel activity is expected. Qualifications To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are expected: A master's degree in finance, business, or a relevant field. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in financial and people management. Solid knowledge and experience in accounting and financial reporting. Proficiency in internal budget planning, follow-up, and reporting. As a person, you possess strong stakeholder management skills, creating followship in a diverse organization and effectively communicating with data in an assertive manner. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in financial matters, allowing you to make sound decisions and navigate complex financial situations. Additionally, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. Your good planning skills, strategic thinking, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with diverse activities further contribute to your success. You are committed to continuous improvements, ensuring that processes and outcomes are constantly enhanced. About the department The team drives all finance processes across the organization which includes budgeting, planning, reporting, project controlling as well as accounting and production economy. The team consists of six employees and has in addition support for offshore activities from our service centre in Bangalore. The team’s responsibilities reflect the versatility of the company to support the rest of the organization. This includes tasks within product costing, cost controlling, sales analysis, budgeting, compliance, and management reporting.
