Do you want to join our team who leads an international data privacy program?</p><p>We are looking for an experienced data privacy specialist with a legal background for our growing Global Data Privacy Excellence Team responsible for our global data privacy programme, controls and processes covering more than 35 countries globally. To succeed in this role, you must have a proactive attitude and solid experience with GDPR and maybe other data privacy legislations. Combining local experience with global knowledge, we help shape the society of tomorrow.</p><p><strong>You will join our Global Data Privacy Team </strong></p><p>The position has international reach and is located in the Global Data Privacy Excellence Team – with dedicated and skilled colleagues – who drives, develops, and monitors compliance with our Global Data Privacy Programme across 35 plus countries. The position has international reach and is located in Ramboll’s Group Business Integrity function in Ramboll’s headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark.</p><p>You will report directly to Ramboll’s Global Head of Data privacy. We value good teamwork, an informal and positive atmosphere and mutual respect.</p><p><strong>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</strong></p><ul><li>Leading legal guidance and support to Data Privacy Managers placed in Ramboll’s business units and functions, including in the event of data breaches</li><li>Being the key legal subject matter expert in the Global Data Privacy Team</li><li>Managing the global overview of global data privacy legislation in the 35 countries where we have offices</li><li>Heading up our legal data privacy development projects and processes</li><li>Contributing to improvement of our internal processes by playing a key part in our development and digitisation processes</li><li>Conducting data privacy compliance reviews and audit activities and reporting findings to senior management</li></ul><p>Your starting point for constant growth</p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. As a successful candidate you need:</p><ul><li>A master’s degree in Law</li><li>Minimum 4-6 years of post-graduate legal experience from a law firm within IT law, GDPR and general commercial legal work field</li><li>Good track-record in contract negotiations as well as drafting and reviewing complicated commercial vendor contracts.</li><li>At least 5 years’ experience supporting data privacy activities, preferably in an international organisation, including handling of data breaches and data subject requests</li><li>Solid legal knowledge and Experience with GDPR</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. This includes the ability to explain complex legal points to employees and managers with varying degrees of experience with legal matters</li><li>To be methodical and thorough and to be able to keep a clear mind in a busy and dynamic environment.</li><li>To be able to prioritize tasks in a fast paced, agile working environment with quick turnaround times and meet deadlines</li><li>Professional proficiency in English verbally and in writing as our corporate language is English</li><li>To enjoy working with different cultures in a global environment</li></ul><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>Apply online.
