Do you want to work with insurance IT within a super exciting transformation program?
Here you have an opportunity to be part of the biggest transformation program in the history of Topdanmark. In the program we are transforming our legacy core policy systems to the standard insurance platform Guidewire. As an experienced Technical Operations Lead you have a huge opportunity to make your mark on the future of Topdanmark.
Technical Operations Lead on the Guidewire platform
Guidewire will over the coming years become the IT backbone to support Topdanmarks insurance journey. As a Technical Operations Lead you will focus on designing, implementing and maintaining the non-functional requirements of the platform:
You will build up a Tech & Platform team that will consist of very skilled and talented SW engineers, operations specialist and DevOps engineers. The goal is to build a world class technical operations team that will provide all the professional and personal challenges that you wish for.
You will act as technical PO for the Tech & Platform team and at the same “get your hands dirty” in implementing the needed tools and processes.
The tech stack of Guidewire consists of: GOSU (Java based language, back-end), React (front-end), REST API’s, Kubernetes/Docker on AWS, GIT, GUnit (unit test), Cucumber (BDD), Jenkins. Besides this we have multiple secondary applications build in Java on our Kubernetes/Docker platform in AWS.

Your new workplace will be at the Topdanmark head office in Ballerup where you will be part of the Policy Platform area. You will be assigned in a crucial role in the transformation to daily operations as Topdanmark takes over the responsibility for future operations and development from the migration program. There is thus a lot of room to shape the future of your work life.

Technical Operations Lead on the Guidewire platform
Guidewire will over the coming years become the IT backbone to support Topdanmarks insurance journey. As a Technical Operations Lead you will focus on designing, implementing and maintaining the non-functional requirements of the platform:
- Securing the performance of the platform across multiple integrating applications
- Establishing the foundation for agile development through an effective DevOps setup including: CI/CD, Environments, Test and production data and Automated test
- Monitoring of the platform including: logs, availability, performance etc.
- Building and maintaining a sustainable security model that corresponds to the guidelines of Topdanmark
You will build up a Tech & Platform team that will consist of very skilled and talented SW engineers, operations specialist and DevOps engineers. The goal is to build a world class technical operations team that will provide all the professional and personal challenges that you wish for.
You will act as technical PO for the Tech & Platform team and at the same “get your hands dirty” in implementing the needed tools and processes.

You possess the following skills
- You have a background in SW development (preferably on the Java platform) and has now moved towards technical enablers and enhancements within DevOps, Performance and availability.
- Experience with working holistically with a big standard platform and multiple internal and external integrations.
- Experience as a tech lead and leading a team of highly skilled developers
- Ability to set the direction via hands-on implementations of various features
- Experience with working with both business and technical stakeholders and bridging their worldviews
- Business knowledge about insurance is an advantage
- Experience with working in an agile setup
- A relevant academic education within computer science
