The position You will be part of an area providing support in shaping and driving the SVP agenda with GDD and outside GDD with key Novo Nordisk stakeholders. This will also require driving business initiatives across the SVP area on behalf of and in close alignment with the VP. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Driving complex projects across categories like strategy, organisational development, cultural development etc, both within GDD and with other parts of the value chain.
  • Driving GDD input to more corporate projects and therapy area (TA) strategies
  • Driving execution of key projects and priorities on behalf of the SVP
  • Connecting the dots between different activities across Research & Early Development (R&ED) and towards Development and Commercial
  • Actively building and utilizing own network to drive GDD development and Supporting team colleagues in given tasks.
    • Qualifications You have a relevant university degree. This could be in biological, medical, or pharmaceutical science, economics, business administration, social sciences, engineering, etc., but likely also coupled with work history within the pharmaceutical industry. To be successful in this position we think you might be able to tick some of the following boxes:
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience working within strategy, project/programme management in healthcare, perhaps even within Research & Development
  • Worked in an executive office and/or strategy function in a mid or large size pharmaceutical company
  • A successful track record from a consulting firm, preferably having worked within healthcare
  • Fluency in oral and written English

Additionally, you excel driving by executing projects and tasks, no matter the topic. You are curious and like variety in tasks from simple tasks that need to be moved ahead to more complex projects that have the potential to change the strategic priorities of Global Drug Discovery.
