The Position This position gives you a unique opportunity for personal and professional development and further building on your career as an IT Infrastructure Category Manager. As a Category Manager in IT Infrastructure, your main responsibilities are: Develop and execute local and global category strategies and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders ensuring the best cost for value (TCO) is obtained. Drive sourcing projects – from ideation, scoping, e-sourcing, negotiation, to contract negotiation and implementation. Manage supplier relationships - including supplier segmentation and strategy development and execution of planned activities. Business development - engage with users in the business to develop and quantify ideas for new projects, substitution, or value-adding activities that generate benefits and savings to the organisation. Coach colleagues and take a proactive role in the continuous development of the department and our team. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you have: Master’s Degree in, e.g., Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management or similar with excellent results complemented with 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Bachelor Degree or equivalent complemented with 4 years of relevant experience working with, e.g., procurement project management, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or business development. Excellent stakeholder management skills to help drive change management in a diverse customer landscape. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in IT sourcing and especially IT Infrastructure will be an advantage. Furthermore, you have a strong sourcing toolbox, with confidence in driving negotiations independently, and can use data to drive evidence-based decision-making, complete high-quality analysis, and make strong recommendations. We expect you to be curious and understand the value chain in a large organisation and have excellent presentation and communication skills, at all levels of the organisation. About the Department Corporate Procurement consists of 150 employees based in Denmark and India (globally 500 people) and is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy.
