Apply today for a life-changing career! The position Your main responsibility will be to contribute to clinical trial development within one of our project areas. As such you will be part of a cross-functional trial team where you will take an active role in evaluating clinical trial data and be part of a team of statisticians and programmers working on creating tables and figures for reporting of the trial results. During the conduct of our clinical trials you will be interacting with many different stakeholders such as data managers, medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers, medical writers and more – collaboration and stakeholder management skills are therefore important. The three open positions are within different project areas with the following focus: Obesity – we have recently initiated a large development programme for a new compound for the treatment of obesity and have several clinical trials in conduct and planning. In the obesity project area we offer the opportunity of becoming part of our project team and taking part in the clinical development of a new drug. Depending on your experience you will take a role of either support or trial statistician and be involved in the execution of one of our clinical trials.
Diabetes & Alzheimer’s Disease – you will be involved in providing statistical input to clinical trial protocols, be part of the study execution phase and reporting of studies as well as supporting colleagues in the area on other studies and ad hoc requests to the projects requiring statistical expertise.
Other Serious Chronic Diseases & Outcomes – depending on your experience you will either drive or take part in the handling of statistical analyses of clinical trials within disease areas like cardiovascular. Perform statistical analyses supporting interactions with authorities, for price negotiations and increasing our knowledge of our products. Take part in the ad-hoc biostatistical activities within the department
Please indicate in your application which position/project area you find most interesting. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: Strong background in mathematics and statistics corresponding to MSc level
Experience within clinical or bio-statistical research
It will be a strong advantage if you have: Hands-on knowledge of SAS, R or other programming language
Background from a pharmaceutical company or other global organisation in a highly regulated industry
