To be based at our Headquarter in Copenhagen, we are looking for an ambitious Compliance and Reporting manager that thrives in financial reporting and has an appetite to influence how we do it.

As a Compliance & Reporting Manager in APMM Accounting, you will be a key team player and your role will include ensuring integrity, accuracy and completeness of our financial reporting, but you will also be expected to identify and execute on opportunities of improving our ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

Your area of responsibility will be comprehensive and among other things include:

  • Effectively executing the financial reporting processes at group level

  • Completing and securing correct and unbiased financial reporting to key decision makers

  • Being a competent advisor on IFRS, accounting and consolidation issues for different businesses’ finance and reporting functions

  • Participating in the preparation of the Group’s quarterly and annual reports

  • Supporting changes in Group reporting from a controlling and reporting point of view

  • Preparing and updating accounting and reporting instructions according to IFRS

  • Driving and ensuring execution of ad hoc initiatives and participation in projects

  • Challenging the existing processes to improve and automate and reduce non-value adding activities.


Who we are looking for

  • You hold a relevant financial degree, e.g., Master’s degree or Graduate diploma (HD) in accounting or equivalent.

  • Further, you have at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting or controlling and/or as an auditor of large/medium-sized companies.

  • Strong functional knowledge of IFRS and consolidation is a must. You can identify potential issues associated with unusual or complex transactions and review and approve the appropriate treatment.

  • You are a strong and confident communicator, and you use this ability to leverage your functional skills as you build open and trustful relations to your stakeholders.

  • Experience from a sophisticated consolidation system is an advantage.

  • You produce high quality results and are capable of combining an eye for detail with a holistic overview. You work and deliver results independently and with the team, and act as a proactive and knowledgeable advisor to various stakeholders in Maersk.

  • You enjoy working towards a goal, taking ownership of your assignments and thrive in a dynamic environment where you need to manage competing priorities.

  • As you will work with colleagues from just about anywhere in the world, fluency in English is a prerequisite.
