THE JOB

Saxo Bank is in an exciting phase of further developing and optimizing how we engage our clients through our Trading Platforms, which are the main products of Saxo Bank. To further strengthen our Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) team and shift Saxo’s digital user experience to the next level, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager, who will coordinate our project deliveries towards our Retail and Partner trading platforms.

THE ROLE

You will report to the Head of Digital Experience Platforms & CMS Strategy, and be part of a global team of highly skilled digital minds around the globe, responsible for launching, innovating & improving all of Saxo’s Trading Platforms through our integrated Digital Experience Management System. Working with our enterprise CMS system (Sitecore), and your colleagues across multiple organizations (the broader Product & Platforms group, Marketing, Commercial Execution, Digital On-boarding, Trade & Client Support, IT etc.) you will be part of the center of excellence that aims to further optimize the Saxo Experience.

Due to a member of our small team being away on extended leave, there is also an opportunity to take on an interim Team Lead position as part of this role. The duration of this assignment would be approximately 12 months, or until our team is complete again. As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the primary point of contact towards our Platforms, Marketing, Commercial Execution and Client Activation teams
  • Responsible for the configuration of the digital experience layer of our technology stack for local Saxo Bank offices and selected partners, anchoring the roll-out of many new features
  • Being hands-on, and the subject matter expert on our headless Content Management processes using our integrated Sitecore DXP solution
  • Being the guardian of a scalable solution from an operational perspective as well as having a big say from the IT perspective
  • Clearly communicating with the head of the team and your colleagues, to ensure your projects and other tasks are progressing, while also ensuring that any potential risks for delivery are communicated in a timely manner


As Interim Team Lead, you will be

  • Leading a team of 4 specialists who are responsible for creating, editing, and publishing content on the bank’s digital platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with the bank’s standards and policies
  • Hosting and running your own daily standup meetings with the broader team
  • Managing project resourcing, priorities and assignments across the team
  • Providing coaching, feedback, and training to the team members, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment


YOUR SKILLS

You are

  • A good communicator, with your team and stakeholders
  • Experienced with being in the center of the delivery process
  • A critical thinker, always looking to digitize and automate recurring jobs, for increased efficiency and effectiveness
  • Tech savvy, and an overall keen interest in the digital world
  • Detail oriented, thriving to make an effort to understand causes instead of just effects


You have

  • Strong skills in time management, prioritizing work individually and collaboratively
  • Knowledge or strong interest in investment banking especially in relation to capital markets and financial products (FX, CFDs, equities etc)
  • Knowledge and experience in the FinTech world and the use of API technologies (SOAP, REST)
  • Experience in managing IT and Marketing projects and project delivery in the financial sector
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, especially headless (Sitecore is a plus)
  • Experience with UX best practices, Web design and basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus
  • Experience in writing documentation for the rest of the team and other stakeholders
