The position
As Senior Global Trial Manager you will assume senior level responsibilities for the execution of phase I-IV global clinical trials within liver diseases. You will be part of a best-in-class, ambitious development organization with established procedures in place, hence allowing you to focus on driving change and innovation. You will ensure strong collaboration between key internal and external stakeholders to drive successful start-up, conduct and closure of clinical trials. You will have ample opportunity to enhance our internal processes and identify novel ways of generating clinical trial evidence.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Planning, execution, and oversight phase I-IV clinical trials.
• Vendor management and – oversight.
• Project - and stakeholder management, internal/external.
• Global communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor Global Trial Managers, colleagues. Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you have:
• A Science degree combined with extensive experience managing clinical trials within a pharmaceutical industry or CRO, preferably in both global and local roles.
• Broad experience with execution of projects and an ability to independently drive challenges to solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders from multiple countries.
• Research & Development business value chain overview.
• Good communication and presentation skills as well as strong command of English both written and spoken.

As a professional, you have personal drive and are enthusiastic, energetic, confident, and able to work on multiple tasks to meet personal and team goals. You are comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with an innovative approach to problem solving. You are a high performer with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. You create consensus across professional and geographical borders and build trust among colleagues.

About the department
The Clinical Operations department resides in the key development project, Obesity, Liver Disease and Devices. We are part of the Clinical Drug Development project centric organization driving the development portfolio through world-wide clinical trial activities in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk colleagues around the world. Together with our colleagues across the value chain in HQ & affiliates, we ensure thorough scientific evidence that can provide safe and efficacious treatment to people living with serious chronic diseases.
